Kanyakumari

Kanyakumariis the tip of the Southern part of India. The place has unique geographical features , The western side is covered by the Arabian Sea. The Eastern side is covered by the Bay of Bengal and the southern side of kanyaKumari is very unique as both these seas mingle with the Indian Ocean. The Sunset and Sunrise here is very special and breath taking view for the tourists. Sunrise can be viewed throughout the year, sunset is visible only from October 15 to March 15 from this southernmost tip. But one can view both sunrise and sunset throughout the year from atop a hill called Murugan Kundram which offers a panoramic view of Kanyakumari. The sunset and moonrise can be seen almost simultaneously on full moon days from the same spot. It is a unique thing about KanyaKumari.

The twin rocks in the mid of the sea is major attraction of Kanyakumari, both contributing to the rich Indian heritage with the monuments of swamy Vivekananda and Saint Thiruvalluvar. Every year Lakhs of tourists visits kanyakumari to see sunset & sunrise at its best.
